More of Annie Blanchet's canvases: the abstract bits...

We finished photographing Annie's lacquered canvases on Monday. Took some macro shots of very small parts of the paintings and we like the results:

A small selection of pictures from last week's session with artist Annie Blanchet for her forthcoming exhibition at the Oxford International Art Fair  on the 7-9 February 2014.
Shooting her series of lacquered canvases in mixed media was a bit like trying to take pictures of mirrors and making the photographer (and her kit!) invisible. Let's just say we spent quite a bit of time wrapped up in black cloth...
